About Playground Berlin

Playground Berlin is not your average sports venue. It's our outdoor home base – a raw, creative space where startups, locals, and travelers come together to play football, volleyball, hang out at the bar, and enjoy good vibes all day long.

But to keep the Playground running smoothly, we need hands-on, sporty people who love building, fixing, cleaning, and being part of something social and active.

We’re looking for Workawayers who want to help us maintain and grow the Playground – from small construction jobs to helping out at the bar during our games and weekend events.

What you’ll do

1. Help Build & Improve the Playground

• Support with DIY tasks like painting, basic carpentry, assembling furniture, building benches or shade structures

• Maintain and repair our sports equipment and chillout areas

• Keep the whole Playground clean, organized, and safe
   

2. Support Weekend Bar Service

• Take weekend bar shifts: serve drinks, restock fridges, clean up

• Help keep the bar area tidy, welcoming, and full of energy

• Chat with guests, players, and teams – you’re part of the vibe
   

3. Operate & Maintain

• Set up pitches for football and volleyball

• Manage gear and storage: balls, cones, nets, jerseys

• Assist during Open Play events: check-ins, music, logistics, and general flow
   

Who you are

• You’re sporty, love being outdoors, and enjoy physical, practical tasks

• You’re proactive, reliable, and not afraid to get your hands dirty

• You enjoy being social, talking to people, and making them feel welcome

• You have some DIY or bar experience – or are eager to learn

• You speak English (German is nice but not required)
